RISE ‘10 – Featuring Our Own Julie Jumonville!

1 March 2010 314 views No Comment

RISE (A Relationship & Information Series for Entrepreneurs) is about to launch the week-long festivities for 2010, and anyone with even half an inkling to start a business or take their existing business to the next level should consider attending.  There will be sessions on topics ranging from how to start up a business to marketing and social media and 13 different tracks including Austin Women Entrepreneurs and Clean Technology.

The sessions are taught by some of the best and brightest entrepreneurs around the country–including our own Julie Jumonville who is hosting a session called “How do I get into Independent and Big Box Retailers?“:

So, you have worked nights and weekends and spent your savings to develop the most amazing product that should be sold on-line, in Independent Retailers, and Big Box Stores. How do I get into these stores? Should I use a broker and pay a percentage to get on their shelves? If I have the buyers name, can I call them directly to get a meeting?

On the “The Julie Jumonville Show” (play off Ellen Degeneres Show) we will live, laugh and dance in this session while hosting live guests and pre-recorded interviews of new companies, current and past buyers including Target and other top retailers in the country. Come hear directly from the retailers how to get into their stores. And of course be ready to dance, have fun and play games all tailored to give you tips on how to get your products into retail.

Come and meet other women entrepreneurs and Julie for learning, networking and fun!  Registration is free but limited to only 25 attendees–and space is going fast!  Get connected before, during and after the session:
