The official UpSpring Baby End-Of-Quarter celebration took place Monday at P.F.Chang’s downtown Austin. We ate, swapped stories about our kids, and congratulated one another for the hard work each member of our team has put in to grow our company. Good times!

UpSpring Baby is founded and run by women of many talents. Not only do we invent amazing products for moms and babies, manage a rapidly growing start-up company, and wear mommy hats–we are also creative geniuses (kind of).

We sent her out to L.A. to represent UpSpring Baby to local businesses, and the next thing we know–she’s dancing with Ellen! (That’s Julie on the right, getting funky!) We can’t wait until she gets back to tell us the whole story, and I’m dying to know what song they’re dancing to!

We couldn’t be prouder! One of UpSpring Baby’s co-founders and our Chief Innovation Officer, Julie Jumonville, has been nominated for the prestigious Austin Under 40 Award in the Business and Entrepreneurship Category!
Au40 was founded in 1997 by the Young Men’s Business League and the Young Women’s Alliance to recognize young men and women in Austin who excel in their professional fields and make considerable contributions to their communities. Their annual awards constitute a “who’s who” of Austin in many important areas of the community.

Julie Jumonville is UpSpring Baby’s Co-Founder, our Chief Innovation Officer, and the creator of the Milkscreen test to detect alcohol in breast milk. She’s also taken on the role as our company’s “ambassador” and spends a great deal of time on the road meeting with people, promoting UpSpring Baby and keeping her finger on the pulse of the baby and pregnancy marketplace.
